An Introduction

Hello, my name is Tristan Jung, and I enjoy writing copious amounts of material about random topics. My favorite things to write about are baseball, indie music, and running. Hopefully this blog will be a cornucopia of all three. My experiments with blogging have not gone over well in the past, but I hope this one will work out.In case you're wondering why this blog is called "Forget the Protocol", it comes from a lyric in the song "I Stand Corrected" from the album Vampire Weekend by the band of the same name.I am a staff writer for Inside NU and a student at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Most of the sub-optimal photography that I have on this site are taken on the Evanston, IL campus or from one of my random vacations.
